Mini MacBook

Lap5 The rumor is that Apple is now currently testing  a sub-notebook named “Mini MacBook” that is anticipated to re-establish Mac Maker as a leader in compact computing. The new tiny MacBook is scheduled to be announced around the time of WWDC this year. The machine will be much lighter and compact than any other Mac portable that has been put forth by Apple in recent times. Other than that the mini MacBook will integrate onboard NAND flash.

Voodoo Envy w.201 AKA: The Non-Portable Gaming Portable

Qkitchen_envy_u909_red1 Voodoo, recently acquired by HP, had an incredible gaming rig on display during CES 2007 last month. Dual NVIDIA GeForce 7800 SLI graphics cards with 256MB of RAM on each card, an AMD Turion 64 x2 dual-core processor, and a gig of RAM are all standard on each one of Voodoo's impressive new gaming computers; as is a 20-inch display capable of resolutions up to 1680x1050. What's uncommon about the gaming rigs are that they're all laptops. The Voodoo Envy w:201 gaming laptop is anything but portable, and I am not sure if it classifies as a "notebook computer," although technically there's a hinge between the body and the display so you can close it.

Your back deserves a break!

Goods0606_bag
I know  how weird this laptop lugger looks , but I promess it’s worth the embarrassment. The shoulder pads direct the weight of the load across your entire back instead of on one shoulder. And it’s easy to sling on. Ogio Shling Laptop Bag, $200;

E-TOILET....

Etoilet_12 You are one of those geeks who can’t even stand a few minutes in toilet without an internet connection?? (I am, Iam!), well  Bill Gates has unveiled eToilet to help capitalize on that time. e-Toilet includes a 21-inch flat-screen monitor built into the toilet lid itself that swings out on a swivel arm when in use. The touch-activated eToilet protects the screen from spray during use or flushing with its built-in proximity sensor. eToilet not just lets you surf the web but it also plays music from Zune, and monitors personal hygiene by shutting-down the lid automatically, when left open, so that, you don’t have to hear a lecture on Toilet-manners from your wife again! And, that’s not it, there are many other features including built-in thermostat, a delay mechanism to prevent flushing while someone is in the shower and a few more. And, last but not the least; Microsoft has integrated their e-Loo technology in the eToilet that allows for the activation of remote call features. The eToilet may cost between $499 and $599, from probably, next month , the perfect V-day gift for your guy!!!

Targus portable desk

Targus Apple iBook G4. The one drawback of this cute, light, notebook-like computer is that its bottom gets very hot in use. Lap-burning hot, in fact. The solution I found to this problem turns out to be a real enhancement. It provides the necessary ventilation under the iBook, but it does more. Unfolded, it provides a wide, stiff surface to hold the computer when I’m sitting cross-legged. Were I a mouse-user, there’d be space to move the mouse. But I use it mostly in its folded configurations. It’s cleverly designed to also serve as an adjustable tilt-stand, and still be wide enough to hold the iBook and fit my lap. There’s an advantage to being able to tilt my keyboard while I’m working. I sometimes use the LapDesk at my desk, or at cafe tables for the ergonomic value. The LapDesk is light, stiff, and compact, so that if fits nicely into my laptop bag, providing an extra layer of protection for the iBook in travel.

Ipod Vending machines?

Ipodvendingmachines An Apple-logoed iPod vending machine was seen in an airport in atlanta!! .Just like the ones that give us candies every day! Apple logos on the sides. What does it vend? iPods and other related digimusitalia. Apple-branded accessories like iPod docks and those expensive-but-adorable iPod “socks.” Curiously, only two iPod versions were stocked - 30 Gb Gen 5 video iPods and Gen 1 original Nanos. A number of third party accessories as well including iPod skins, docks, FM transmitters, headphones and even cell accessories like chargers, batteries, etc. There’s a 15″ touchscreen display - you press the number of the item and it brings up the description and the price. Swipe your card and out pops the item -  It could be a great idea... but they made one mistaike I could buy one if I have forgot mine at home, ding ding ding, doesn't ring any bells? what about music! I mean I buy a new ipod, what for? I am not going to be able to charge it with any music in the airport... good idea and a bad one at the same time... I am sorry to post this in my notebook's blog but It needed to be posted.
