Sony recently introduced a new notebook computer, which is integrated with a Blu-ray Disc drive. Expected to be unveiled later this month, the VAIO FZ series will come with the price tag of between $1,400 and $2,000. The Sony VAIO FZ Santa Rosa based notebook comes with a premium and standard model, with the premium version offering Blu-ray high-definition content.
Tango Wings boasts a 1.8″ 30GB HDD, 802.11 b/g wireless, 6.5″ WVGA screen, 768MB RAM, all operated by a VIA C7-M 770 processor. This newest UMPC is consisted with bluetooth 2.0, built-in speakers plus a web cam. You’ll be provided with all the I/O ports required by you on this device such as FireWire, audio out, VGA, ethernet, USB (x3), microphone jack, SD/MMC slot, and lot of additional buttons.
All these features fit into a slim body, which is measured 190×120.8×28.3mm and has the weight of just 720g.
The Philips X200 Ultra portable notebooks runs on a 1.73GHz Core Duo U2500 processor and has a 100GB HDD, a Gigabyte of main memory, and the 12.1-inches of widescreen LCD. Absolutely stunning! Other features include a 1.3MP webcam, a brilliant keyboard and wide touchpad and Windows Vista preloaded.
Mebius PC-WT70T is a brand new laptop from the Sharp group. The laptop utilities 1.6 GHz CPU processor, a 15.4 inches display, and 1GB of RAM. The Windows Vista Home Premium and Microsoft Office 2007 will be pre-installed with this product. In addition, it has a SATA microprocessor of a capacity of 100 GB. The Mebius PC-WT70T is also equipped with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g and an integrated DVI.
Sony will release 15.4-inch, 13.3-inch and 11.1-inch widescreen VAIO FZ, VAIO SZ5 and VAIO TZ series in July this year. The widescreen 14-inch VAIO CR laptop and 13.3-inch widescreen VAIO CZ are also rumored to come out at the same time. The VAIO FZ series will feature Intel’s next generation “Santa Rosa” platform and the new Core 2 Duo “Merom” processors, a 2GB of RAM, and up to 200GB hard drive. These notebooks will have an integrated webcam also.
