Intel has finally leaked its UMPC Erath at Computex 2007. This sensitive device comes with only 5.6″ display that swivels to offer you a landscape orientation especially when you view Word document and Excel spreadsheets in this undersized screen size. As far as concerned about its battery life it is reported as prolonged with the help of Intel’s new low power architecture silicon inside. It also comes with a QWERTY keyboard.
Along with Evesham, Dell, Toshiba, and Lenovo, BenQ has also rolled out its Santa Rosa-based 14.1-inch widescreen Joybook S41 notebook. The beautifull laptop is gifted with a wide range of functionalities, including up to 2GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive, wireless a/b/g/n, an NVIDIA GeForce 8600M and a 1.3-megapixel webcam. Besides that, the Santa Rosa notebook will be equipped with feature an HDMI-output and an ExpressCard slot.
Sharp developed a gigantic touchscreen display besides their Aquos flat panel LCD displays. Sharp said that the BIG touchscreen display will be an awesome presentation tool for business meetings and instead of brainstorming, people could write on the display and make it more collaborative and visual. Though, it sure will be useful for board room presentations, but the lack of portability isn't that good for that!

Samsung has armored itself with a whole new series of laptops under the banner called “Aura” by next week. The first laptop in the series will be Aura R20. Fujitsu is a laptop and other IT manufacturer, based in Japan, and announced the release of its new hard drive, the MHX2300BT, on February 2007. This new hard drive is a 300GB storage capacity in only 2.5 inches. It uses a new technology called perpendicular magnetic recording, and fits in the most ultra portable laptops.
